I started my photography journey in early 2020 as part of my lockdown exercise. I have continued since and this portfolio is a unique record of the wildlife and ecology in an around the parish of East Harptree, the wider Chew Valley and the Mendip Hills.
In walking familiar routes on footpaths I can note and record change in plants, in trees, in the weather, the landscape and in the wildlife. I record what I see as I go, this collection is a record of what I pass and what I encounter on each walk.
The Chew Bridges and Project Newton collections take a different approach and are part of an ongoing project.
