It's the Orange-tip butterfly which is normally found in April, May and June and this is what the male butterfly looks like
But whats the link to St Laurence's?
Have you had a good look at the restored Karl Parsons window with St Laurence, St George and St Agnes.
In the panel with St Agnes, on the top left side, there is an Orange-tip butterfly.
On the right hand side is another butterfly but we think this is an artists representation of a type of Fritillary, but not one that is common in East Harptree!
